My impression is that you are correct that there have been a number of posts on this Community Forum regarding issues with the new WiFi7 Orbi products and the most recent Pixel phones.  (do a search on "pixel")  Several posters seem to be working with Netgear support.

 

If you are within the magic "90 days of complimentary support" Netgear provides with new purchases, it might be helpful to contact Netgear Support to see if they have an update on the situation or can provide hints.
