I had been trying to stick with Netgear Support if their recommendations (keep logging on) were conflicting with the recommendations in the community....
I need to revisit that approach - especially with the lack of progress on the support case

jdharrisonsouth Logging (the kind you send support) should not be running all the time. If something occurs, you can turn on logging for 5 minutes and get everything they need. Logging on all the time will make huge files of data. Be sure on the debug page for the router AND satellites, these are turned OFF (first image) and all the logging checkboxes are unchecked on the router admin web page, advanced tab, advanced section, logs (second image):
