Re: RBE971 drops offline & reboots continually, ready for return
Well seven months later the issue really hasn’t been fixed but just reduced in frequency. I’m seeing both WiFi and wired networks go down at the same time for 3-5 minutes at random every 1-5 days. Aft...

The front light on the RBR blinks white and the back light is solid green. Firmware is V9.12.3.3. I have AT&T Fiber using a Nokia BGW320-505. There are 2 RBS devices in a row since I have a large ranch style house at 4200 sq. ft. The RBR is at one end of the house, followed by a RBS at 35 feet with the last RBS 67 feet from the RBR.
I just placed a fan at the base of the RBR and plan to order a small fan to place on the top. I noticed the top of the RBR is quite hot, so I think you may be on to something. Thank you!

FYI, Your ISP Modem already has a built in router and wifi. This would be a double NAT (two router) condition which isn't recommended. https://kb.netgear.com/30186/What-is-Double-NAT

Couple of options,
1. Configure the modem for transparent bridge or modem only mode. Then use the Orbi router in router mode. You'll need to contact the ISP for help and information in regards to the modem being bridged correctly.
2. If you can't bridge the modem, disable ALL wifi radios on the modem, configure the modems DMZ/ExposedHost or IP Pass-Through for the IP address the Orbi router gets from the modem. Then you can use the Orbi router in Router mode.
3. Or disable all wifi radios on the modem and connect the Orbi router to the modem, configure AP mode on the Orbi router.

Try option #2 first...
