Replacing Orbi RBR20 with an Orbi RBE773 using Att Fiber and installation keeps hanging up
I have a RBR20 router with 2 satellites connected to an ATT fiber modem. The modem is a BGW320-500. Everything was working okay but wanted to upgrade to the new router with 2 satellites. Both the m...

It is now working on the new router. I had to do a factory reset on the new RBE770 to get it to go through the setup and I powered down the modem again for a minute to make sure it unpaired from the modem. All is working well now. Thanks

That was the old system. The new system may not be recognized by the ISP router. Again this already has a router built in. Not recommended if you connect any Orbi system to it in router mode. Would need to bridge the modem, use the DMZ on the modem or configure the Orbi system for AP mode.
Try a power OFF of the ISP modem and RBR for 1 minute then back ON.
Can set up the Orbi system using a wired PC and web browser as well:

The router and WiFi portion of the modem were already set up to work with the Orbi RBR20 that has worked with the setup for 3 years and is working today since I reinstalled it. The cables are the same as well. The only change is the router. The firmware is whatever it came out of the box with since I can’t access it through the app because it hangs up in installation

Glad you got it working.
Be sure to disable all wifi radios on the ISP router.
Be sure to save off a back up configuration to file for safe keeping. Saves time if a reset is needed.
