The 850 is a pretty rock solid series. What benefit do you anticipate getting going to the 970 series (other than 6ghz)?
Just curious as that's a significant expense for not a whole lot of performance improvement.

True… Other than a couple issues not related to hardware I have loved my 850’s. I guess it’s just my desire to have the latest technology. I’ll probably wait for them to offer a decent discount before pulling the trigger.

Or even check into the 770 series. Its triband and if you can hardwire them in, you'll get the same benefits. I've used both 970 and 770 and with the 770 series hardwired with a 2gig connection, I can max out the 2 gig without issues.
