thanks for the reply im unable to reflash the firmware as im not good with computers 

is there any o way this can be done with granting romote access

You don't have to be good with computers. The guides walk you through each step of the process. 

There's even a video example of how to do it.

    Just tried again and the firmware flash gets about three quarters of the way on first flash then fails

      what error does it give you? 

      What type of device are you using? 

      did you flash with tftp or nmrpflash? 

      If tftp, did you enable it within windows?

        No error code just stops after flashing
        Just over half way on the progress bar
        I’m using a window 10 laptop and have enabled tftp trying to re flash a netgear X6S extender
