AC adapter for an AX3000 RAX36 Router
I need a new power adapter for my Netgear router. It is an RAX 36 and I have attached a picture of it. Could somebody give me the correct Netgear part number to order and place that might stock...
Does the user manual or spec sheet show this?
Power specs maybe on the bottom sticker or printed on the back power jack port as well. Follow those specs
Amazon should have something for replacement.
Note the old adapter will have a label with the Netgear part number printed on it. Googling that might help find a compatible replacement.
You are looking for an adapter with a 12 volt output and at least 1.5 amps (18 watts). Double-check the amps on the label. More is ok, less is not.
Most Netgear adapters are center-positive (not sure if all are). There is an icon on the adapter label that will tell you this for sure. This has a partial outer circle with a dot in the center, with one circle on each side. One side circle has a +, the other has a -. The center dot will be connected to one of the side circles - that tells you whether the center is positive or negative.
