Access Control / Network

Hi,

 

I have a office multifunction device that we use for scan to email. When I installed my Nighthawk, I was unable to get the scan to email service to send successfully. I have made sure the email settings are correct, and this also worked with the previous router. I've been digging around in the router interface, and the only thing that stands out is in Advanced>Security>Access Control. I see this device (Canon Imagerunner) listed in the section called "Allowed Devices not currently connected to the network". I can print to this device though. Any thoughts?

  • Try disabling the Access Control feature on the routers web page. 

    Remove the device from the list and see if this changes anything. 

     

     

    Try disabling the following and see:
    Armor, or Smart Parental Controls if they were enabled in the NH app...
