Accessing Armor on the APP for Nighthawk Router

A month and a half ago I added the Armor to my 2 year old Router after someone hacked into my router. I added Armor using the Nighthawk APP. I received an email telling me I was now protected. I then tried to access Armor through the "Security" button on the APP. I received an error message saying my coverage had expired. After an hour call to the phone with a Tech I was told the problem would be fixed in a couple days. Next time I accessed Armor through the Security button on the APP I received a message inviting me to sign up for a 90 day free trial. After another lengthy call the Tech told me not to press the 'Security" button on the APP and that the case was being escalated to Customer Support. Now three weeks after that, after a visit with yet another Tech (in which I was on hold for over a half hour) I was told that the problem would be further escalated. I should hear back from them in "a few days"...... Can anyone tell me what is supposed to happen when you press the "Security" button??

    You have posted your message in the section for Nighthawk Routers with WiFi 6 (AX) and WiFi 6E (AXE). The  R6400 listed in your "footer" doesn't come into that category. (The R6400 does not support Circle, so I assume that you have the R6400V2.)

     

    You might get more help, and find earlier questions and answers specific to your device, in the appropriate section for your hardware. That's probably here:

    In the meantime you could visit the support pages:

    Feed in your model number and check the documentation for your hardware. Look at the label on the device for the model number.

    You may have done this already. I can't tell from your message.

    I mention it because Netgear stopped supplying printed manuals and CD versions some years ago and people sometimes miss the downloads.
