Accessing RAX 40 with netgear app

Question

I have an RAX 120 as a main router that I’m able to access using my nighthawk app. I also have a RAX 40 being used as a wired access point on the same wifi. However, I’m not able to connect/see that router on the nighthawk app. Should I be able to access it on the app using nighthawk app? Should I have connected to it before I made the router an access point?
