Activating Armor security in Nighthawk phone app causes LG TV pairing pop up

After purchasing an RAX45 router and installing the Nighthawk app on my Galaxy s7 I started to get intermittent pairing pop ups on my WiFi connected LG smart TV. The default Armor security setting on the app is 'Activated'. After lengthly trial and error I discovered that deactivating Armour security in the app stopped the pop up. Has anyone else expienced this problem or know how to actvate Armor secuity without causing the pairing pop up?
