Amazon Eero

Hi, I am a complete novice when I comes to home networks.
I am based in the UK, and have just signed up to a contract with TalkTalk. I have received an Amazon Eero, which I rather ignorantly thought would act as a router and I could just use to connect me to the internet in my home, like most internet providers in the UK.
However it states that I need a modem connected to the Eero, with an Ethernet cable.
This has thrown me, and cannot make sense of what I need to buy, or what to do with it.

I guess my question really is, would a nighthawk router be what I’m looking for? Specifically the RAX43 Wifi 6 router.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

TIA

  • Any device needs a modem/gateway or something to receive internet from. The RAX will as well as the Eero you have.

what gateway did talktalk give you?

You might just be able to connect them.
