another OpenVPN issue
Guess it's from a recent app update on both Android and W11. The connection attempt fails every time. The only warnings/errors I see are: Fri Jan 9 16:10:22 2026 WARNING: No server certificate v...

Well, hell's bells. I figgered it out. I have the DUC utility on my laptop to keep my No-IP address up to date. Of course, I'm not home so it's updating based on my current connection, not my home router.
Talk about a headset short. Thanks for the attempts to help. Crap...

No one can send you the profile because each profile is unique. Log into the router web interface. Navigate to the OpenVPN page. At the top of the page are links to download the configuration for Windows, non-Windows, and smartphones. Under that are links to display instructions for each. The main difference I see is that the Windows configuration has encryption keys in separate files and the smartphone configuration has everything in one long .ovpn file.

You don't need that, since the router has ddns built in and will keep the address up to date without it.
Assuming you set up the ddns service in the router - If you turn DUC off (or uninstall it), then the problem might heal on its own when the ISP lease expires. You can try pinging the ddns url, and see if the IP (eventually) changes.
