Apple services suddenly not working with RAX80
Sometime as of the past week or two, no Apple device connected to my wifi is able to stream data. That means, Apple Music does not work, nor does Apple TV, software updates, App Store downloads, etc....

What happens if you set WPA2 and AES only on the router?
Your ISP Modem already has a built in router and wifi. This would be a double NAT (two router) condition which isn't recommended. This would be a double NAT condition which isn't recommended. https://kb.netgear.com/30186/What-is-Double-NAT

Couple of options,
1. Configure the modem for transparent bridge or modem only mode. Then use the NG router in router mode. You'll need to contact the ISP for help and information in regards to the modem being bridged correctly.
2. If you can't bridge the modem, disable ALL wifi radios on the modem, configure the modems DMZ/ExposedHost or IP Pass-Through for the IP address the NG router gets from the modem. https://kb.netgear.com/25891/DMZ-on-NETGEAR-routers

3. Or disable all wifi radios on the modem and connect the NG router to the modem, LAN to LAN configure AP mode on the NG router.

iOS version 17.6.1
WPA2 Personal[AES] + WPA3 personal (was previously just WPA2 when this all started)
Channels 1/40
Firmware v1.0.10.140_1.0.79
I did a reset using the wee pinhole long after the firmware was updated (reset a few hours ago). Setup was done via wired device.
The modem is a Fritz!Box7412. I was able to use Apple services on an iPad connected directly to this via Ethernet, which led me to believe that this is functioning normally.

- zognorfAug 12, 2024AspirantI disabled the radios on this modem 5 years ago and use the RAX in router mode. Absolutely nothing was changed when issues arose, presumably due to Apple updates to devices. I’ll see what I can do with the modem specifically again later today.

Disabling the wifi on the ISP gateway isn't enough, still a router there.
Ya, Possible Apple has done something. I can check my RAX80 out. I just had it online but wasn't using it's wifi. My iPhone is still on 17.5.1...
Might forget the wifi connection on the phone and then have the phone reconnect.

Any progress on this?

As to what the specific issue was I can’t say.
Answer accepted since that troubleshooting process is how I got here.
