That is down to whatever problem you have that involves the router.
As microchip8 says, the microphone problem described in your first message doesn't have much, if anything, to do with your router.
There is one warning message in your first post. You say:

If that means that you have two routers on your network, that is asking for trouble. It will have nothing to do with your microphone issue, that is down to whatever microphone you have on whatever computer you are using. But it could cause other problems.
Two routers on your network can cause headaches. For example, you can end up with local address problems. Among other things, the other router can misdirect addresses that the Netgear router usually handles, such as routerlogin.net or the usual IP address for a router, 192.168.1.1.
This explains some of the other drawbacks.
