Automatic firmware update V1.0.16.132 on RAX20 invalidated my port forwards
Last night my RAX20 router got an automatic firmware update from V1.0.11.112 to V1.0.16.132. After this, the majority of my port forwards got messed up (most of the port forwards were suddenly linked to a wrong IP address) and the router did not allow to modify these port forwards anynore, even by deleting and recreating them.
I had a recent backup of a week old, but I could not use it anymore because of the firmware change. So the only option was to downgrade the firmware back to V1.0.11.112, but after this the GUI Language Version remained on V1.0.16.132 (before the upgrade it was on V1.0.11.132) so now it does not correspond anymore to the firmware. And apparently there is no way to downgrade the GUI Language Version...
After restoring my backup I also got another problem. I had a long list of IP address reservations, and after the restore they lost all their device name information that was present before I saved this backup.
I have now disabled automatic upgrading to avoid the same issue from happening again. Netgear, can you please not issue automatic upgrades when this only introduces issues for your users?

Please try a factory reset and setup from scratch with out loading any backup configurations from file after v.132 is loaded. Then check Port Forwarding operation. Be sure to disable uPnP as well.
Check to see if you can disable Automatic Updates on the router. Maybe a menu setting under Advanced Tab/Admin/Firmware Update

Thanks for reacting, but I am not a Beta tester - this should have been done by Netgear before releasing the update. I will remain on V1.0.11 without any further automatic updates.
Good Luck.
