AX 1800 rax10 wont run Wyze caneras
Hi all! I am having troubles with a new router that worked great a first and now will barely support a camera or Smart TV 3 feet away in same room, only 2 bars! I have problems with intermittent signals, dropping connections, bad / failure uploads for event logging, not recording full motion time, not recording at all, going to 360 p and still not woking, disconnecting, unable to find router, so many problems. I've called and called and wyze, Spectrum and Netgear,I have jumped through all the hoops over and over. I'm in tears. I need these security cameras to work like they did, so they certainly can work! Locations have not changed distance has not changed. Nothing has changed. I pay for high speed internet , 5 g on phone, pay for tech suport all around. I have called my internet provider and they came out and everything is new, even dug a new line and outdoor gear is new and still I am having same trouble for 4 months now. I call wyze and they say the cameras are not getting signal, so its routers fault. I pay good money for the best all around and for tech service, yet I am going without the service I've paid wyze for( no 5 min videos) and am paying for. How many hours of trouble shooting must one do before they replace the router with one that works like it did at first? This is ridiculous. I mean a wild Bear AND a Fox in front of a wyze camera for 7 minutes and I got...20 seconds of video! I had manually record that! Something is really wrong. Cameras are new. Anyone got any ideas what could be happening? The router really seems to just lose signal juice. They will change channels and it works a bit better not much and then next day its back to not reaching devices. Its not just cameras, the TVs struggle with finding wifi when it in the very same room as router! I do have extended warranty even ,at what point does this kick in? This has taken days of my time on phone turning things on and off rebooting, you know the drill trying to resolve this and get these devices to work as they should.

Due to the bandwidth of some cameras, the higher resolution, the higher bandwidth maybe needed. Something that the RAX10 may not be capable of supporting. You may need a different RAX series router that has more horse power. Something to ask the camera Mfr about.
