Hello,
I am unable to connect my AX1800 EAX1500 wifi mesh extender. I am not able to find the network for NETGEAR_EXT. I am trying to extend my night hawk RAX80 router.

did you set it up using the wps method of setup?
If so, this installs it in mesh mode. meaning it uses the same ssid as the router and lets devices roam between router---extender based on their own roaming protocol.
- Thanks. I will try that. The RAX80 finally found the extender and the app was able to install it once the netgear_ext network was connected. It took 4 resets on the extender to finally show up not hidden to the RAX80. Not sure why. I never used the WPS before so I didn’t try it. Maybe next time if I have to reset it. Do you push the WPS on the router first? Is it secure?
