Tri-band Mesh Wifi 6 System. Connects to the new Spectrum modem. After a power failure the modem boots up but the Mesh does not. The mesh has an amber light and does connect if I push the buttom on it to reboot.
Problem is, the Mesh Wifi is at our summer residence and I am 1,500 miles away. I have a friend that is going to go in and plug it into a UPS to see if this helps

Some need the modem booted for a couple minutes before you boot the router.

If I pulg the router into a UPS so it does not have to rebooted, will it reconnect to the modem once it reboots?

Plug both the modem and the router into the UPS.
Most power failures are pretty short and the modem shouldn't pull much power.

Our power failures are typically 3 to 5 hours with some 18 hour failures. Can I just plug the router in to protect it from rebooting and not connecting. I really do not care if the modem goes out, just want the mesh to connect once it comes back on. So could the issue be that the router comes on with electricity but does not reboot to connect?
