AX6600 (rax70) loses wired connection to some devices, wifi good.
So, my old modem and router were outdated, 5-6 years old. I picked up a Netgear docsis 3.1 modem and the Nighthawn AX6600 router. Everything was good after setup for about 2 weeks, but then it would drop some devices off of the wired side. The wifi still works fine, and a tv and laptop still show connected to the wired, but 2 other computers (one on an ethernet splitter with laptop) and an xbox would not connect. I tried switching the ethernet cables (all brand new cat 6) and it wouldn't work, only after resetting the router and modem did it work, until the next day when the same devices would not work again.
I ran an ethernet cable directly from the modem to my computer, connects just fine. Any ideas from the hive mind?
My next step it to try a factory reset on the Nighthawk, if this doesn't work it's going back and I will find something else. Pretty sad when a $300 router has issues like this.

"not connect" is not a useful problem description. It does not say
what you did. It does not say what happened when you did it. As usual,
showing actual actions (commands) with their actual results (error
messages, LED indicators, ...) can be more helpful than vague
descriptions or interpretations.
A clear description of what _does_ happen would be more useful
than a vague description of what does _not_ happen.> I ran an ethernet cable directly from the modem to my computer, [...]
Was that the only device which was connected to your (unspecified)
"the modem"? How many devices are you connecting to your (unspecified)
"the modem" when you have problems?Possibly relevant:

You might want to wait a bit before blaming the router.

The next time this happens, check the IP address of each device to make sure that no device did anything weird like trying to use the same IP as another device on the network.
