Ax8 issues

I live in house that's 1800 sqf and have around 33 connected devices. Just about every morning I have to reboot the router to provide internet connection to my devices. This is getting old real quick. Do I need a better unit to handle the load?

  • What modem are you using?

Waht firmware is on your router?

Are all the devices having issues or just specific ones?

Is the issue isolated to wireless devices or do wired have the same issue?

It's a spectrum modem that is brand new. It's on all devices that are on wifi. Pretty much everything is wireless. Model number and firmware will have to wait until I get home. I know the ax8 is running the latest version.

when you get home, the model numers might help.

You can also try disabling AX on the RAX. Some have had help with that.

The RAX devices are pretty new and have been getting a few updates. Some have responded well to factory resets after the updates.

those that continue to have issue, you can try downgrading the firmware to see if it helps.

Just make sure to do any firmware changes over a hardwired connection.
