AX8 Lan port 1 is dead

Question

Purchased from Costco six months ago because I needed 5 lan ports, now lan port 1 is dead after doing all the resets etc. Should I just drop this into the wood pile! I refuse to pay $90 dollars for sub standard support from Netgear. Any ideas for another quality router only with 5 lan inputs?

I'd exchange it at costco. They have a very generous return/exchange policy. it'd probably be faster than going through netgear.&nbsp;
