have you tested other devices? What speeds does your phone get?
Trying to determine if its a devices specific issue or router issue. Many times, we spend hours troubleshooting a router and it turns out to be a bad wireless card or setting on the PC.
What arris device is it? They make both modem only devices and modem/router combo devices.

Always serious about these questions. Details are what let us help you. You wouldn't tell a mechanic when they ask you what motor you have, "it's a Ford". Is it gas? Diesel? 4/6/8 cylinder? Size? etc.
Details are key when helping on a forum. We're not trying to be mean but we need to know your setup to provide decent feedback.

i see what you mean!! i tested my cell was at 60 but after that it was really slow, it was slow for hours before coming back to 60 (like between 1 and 5) Anyway my point is i dont want the router to decide for me what my differents device needs!! My cell phone will never need more then 10 my TV more then 50 etc... and i want to be sure to have a min with my two laptop. Was able to do that with router from early 2000... Sorry but it s not personal to netgear i m just not surprise that the router do not an "intelligent " job to dispatch my bandwith. It s just non sense that my wired laptop is always at the top downlaod and top uplaod while my wifi laptop (wich ever one it is) struggle to have 30 and my phone have 60 ...
