bad bandwith distribution

1. what router do you have? Nighthawk RAX50v2
2. what band are you connected to? 2.4ghz or 5ghz? both behave the same way
3. QoS isn't recommended at speeds over 250mbps. so if you have 600mbps, disable qos yes i know but i tried it anyway in case it would help
4. what firmware is on the router? Firmware Version V1.1.4.28_2.1.26
5 and 6 are you serious? if you are it should have a warnin on the box : Check you laptop chipset and your modem chipset before buying this product it just work on specific ones!

have you tested other devices? What speeds does your phone get?
Trying to determine if its a devices specific issue or router issue. Many times, we spend hours troubleshooting a router and it turns out to be a bad wireless card or setting on the PC.
What arris device is it? They make both modem only devices and modem/router combo devices.
Got a wireless usb card you can test with?
That wireless card in the laptop isn't known for being the best.
what do you means? it cant handle more then 30 mbps? anyway when i switch the laptop (wired the the wifi and vice versa) the problem is still there!
