BUG REPORT Nighthawk® AX12 RAX120 Router Firmware Version V1.0.0.84
Choosing option WPA2-Personal[AES] + WPA3-Personal encryption disconnects IPAD 2 running IOS 10.3.3

Christian_R - that's a bug, not a security vulnerability. Perfectly chosen subject by the OP 8-)

Did you ever get this issue resolved? I'm interested in purchasing the RAX120 but not if simple test cases like this are present.
Also, the response you got from the moderator Christian_R was totally unacceptable and way off base. You should contact support if you are still encountering this issue. Make sure to reference this forum thread.

What I meant to state above was:
I'm interested in purchasing the RAX120 but not if Netgear's QA team hasn't bothered to document and execute simple test cases like this. A bug like this should have been caught weeks, if not months, ago.

While I'm the first line complaining about Netgear's non-existing PQA ... Is running all kinds of legacy hardware on legacy operating system versions (think of Android [how many different platforms are out there?], iOS [several EoL generations], ... And then: Well possible these WPA3/WPA2 interop issues could be problems on the client side...

kc6108 In the next iteration, the WPA2/WPA3 processing is a part of the wireless association process, which is most likely outside of Netgear's competences - all this happens in embedded code run on the radio chips, which does come from the SoC vendors. Can't speak for the RAX models however, we have seen in the past the Netgear was not very progressive in keeping these things updated.

Not resolved yet, no new firmware out. I ran accross another problem also. Very low transfer speeds. I turned off the AX protocol and speeds inproved. I don't have and AX clients yet so no problem. Im sure things will inprove over time. Early adopters are in store for a few headaches.
