C7000 login to MODEM not ROUTER
Because I am using an Orbi Mesh Router system, I logged into the modem and turned off the router function on the modem. No need for it.
Now, I can't login to the modem again. I am wired to the modem on a laptop, but I can't figure out how to login to it. For example, If I want the router function turned back on, or need to tweak any other settings on the modem.
Any help?
Thanks

That's what happens when you put the thing into "bridge mode". The router is in charge of traffic. I guess that, unlike my the DM200, the manual doesn't explain how to get in there in bridge mode.
I see that the manual for the C7000v2 says:
"When your modem router is in bridge mode, use http://192.168.0.1 to
log in to your modem router."Tried that?

You can get back to square one with a factory reset.
As it is, is there anything else beyond the mode change you can do in bridge mode that requires access to the browser graphical user interface? It all happens on the router.

A lot of people use Orbi in wireless access point (AP) mode. After all, they buy it for its wifi capabilities.
By the way, it may not matter, but you have posted your message in the section of this community given over to Nighthawk WiFi Routers. (This is easily done, given Netgear's impenetrable community structure.)
If you need more help, you might get better and quicker replies, and find other answers, over in the appropriate section for your device. That's probably here:
Cable Modems & RoutersThanks for the reponse. I have indeed tried http://192.168.0.1/
It can't be reached, even wired to the modem.
I don't really know what other options/settings are available in the modem outside of the bridge mode. Not being able to access it just has me curious.
But I can log into the orbi and the orbi app on my phone.
It seems strange that I'd have to factory reset the modem to turn bridge mode back to router mode.
