Can you connect it via ethernet cable to the mesh system and run it in AP (access point) mode? Sure.
You can even connect it to the modem and run it in router mode and then connect the mesh system to it and run the mesh system in access point mode.
will it function as a mesh satellite? no.
Will it fully integrate with the mesh system? no.
