Are you connecting more than 1 device to the cm1200?
are you using link aggregation with the cm1200?
Firmware on the RAX80?
are you able to access it, when it isn't connected to the cm1200?

Thanks so much for the reply, heres the answers to your quesitions
Are you connecting more than 1 device to the cm1200?
▶︎No My router is connected to the first ethernet, I have tested it to see if it worked differently on the other ethernet but same issue
are you using link aggregation with the cm1200?
▶︎No,
"Ethernet Port Aggregation Status: Inactive"
Firmware on the RAX80?
▶︎Its currently V1.0.1.64 I know theres an update and I have auto update enabled, however, it still hasnt updated automatically and i cant get logged into it to update it. I cant get it to update from the nighthawk app either because I can only see my router when i use the connect remotely option. thats how i am able to see the firmware version is from the remote connection in the app
are you able to access it, when it isn't connected to the cm1200?
▶︎Yes I can log into it perfectly when its not connected to the modem. I have even double checked to make sure that im using the correct router IP address to access it as well

Here's what i'd try to do.
download the firmware for the router onto your pc.
unhook the router from the modem.
manually install the firmware to the router.
factory reset the router and reinstall it.
Try this. Maybe something was corrupt with the firmware.
