cannot connect WAN

For the model number, I have the RAX45.   Couldnt find that in the list so went with RAX40 above (as the closest to it).

Orignal setup - hooked my WAN line from service provided into an AirCube which then transmits WiFI.   My provider uses a fiber/wireless hybrid network, with a dish mounted on the roof.   What I get is an RJ45 plug.

1)  I can take a cable, plug into Gigbit Ethernet output port on AirCube, and plug that line into the Internet port of the NetGear.   Everything works just fine that way.

2)  If I take the WAN line from service provider and instead of plugging into AirCube, plug into Internet port on NetGear, I get nothing.    i would fully expect this to work.  Not sure if this is a setting issue or maybe I just have the wrong netgear router.

Would like some guidance/suggestions on this.   thanks

The Aircube is an access point, not a router.

have you tried putting the netgear in access point mode?
