Changing my old DSL modem to a NIGHTHAWK AX8 8-STREAM AX6000 WIFI 6 Router?
Hello everyone, I'm planning in getting a NIGHTHAWK AX8 8-STREAM AX6000 WIFI 6 ROUTER. I'm tired of my old modem which is a Motorola NVG510. It came with the ATT internet plan a few years ago. The question is, can I just connect the DSL cable to the WAN port of the AX8 WIFI ROUTER? Or do I need to keep the DSL modem and then connect it to the new router?
Thanks.
Thanks.

Failing that you will have to buy a standalone DSL modem, such as the Netgear DM200. Unfortunately, these are approaching extinction and fetching silly prices.
Perhaps your Internet service provider can advise on how to reuse the Motorola or a suitable alternative.
