Netgear can do as many updates as it likes for cable modems, but it is down to the ISP to roll it out.
Users have no control of firmware on cable modems.

I noticed that Spectrum and Cox are using V1.02.01 firmware for the CM1200, whereas Xfinity has V1.02.02 deployed (see here). Are forum members with Spectrum, Cox, and Xfinity all experiencing the same decrease in download speeds when WAN Aggregation is enabled?

I've got Xfinity and just checked the firmware version on my cm1200 and it's V1.02.02 but I still have the slowness issue.
