Not much to go on.
What NG product and model are you referring too?

its a Netgear nighthawk AX1800 - model RAX10, the power doesn't go off often, I've had electrical works done at my home where the main switch had to be turned off.
I'm just wondering if there's a way to save my configuration settings so it just reboots itself in the event the power does go off in the future.

What modem is it connected to?
It shouldn't require "reconfiguration" after a power failure/reboot cycle.
You can make backups but again, it shouldn't need to everytime its powered on/off.

Its connected to the NBN and the service provider is IINET, not sure if that's what you asking, i will say that i am not the most tech savvy person there is, hence asking for advice.

NBN means not much beyond Australian internet. There are man flavours of that.
Does it come with a modem?
If so, the startup routine is important.
Be sure to restart your network in this sequence:
- Turn off and unplug modem.
- Turn off router and computers.
- Plug in and turn on modem. Wait 2 minutes for it to connect.
- Turn on the router and wait 2 minutes for it to connect.
- Turn on computers and rest of network.
