conflict IP address after power failure
In my RAX45 router, I reserved some IP addresses for specific devices while leaving the others to be determined by DHCP. However, after a power outage, a reversed IP address was assigned to two diffe...
- You have to restart the device(s) so they can request a new IP from the DHCP which will then give out the reserved one. Restarting the router won't do it
What are these devices you reserved IPs for?
Any of them phones or pads?

Not phone or pad. The devices are Synology NAS and YAMAHA receiver.
Ok. Something you might do for those two devcies Setup a static IP address outside of the routers default IP address pool. Some devices like NAS and AVRs don't need much or any router management and recommend setting a static IP address on these devices. You'll need to change the routers IP address pool size. I recommend .100 to .200. Then you'll have room on either side of this pool for static IP addressed devices.
What I use for my NAS and AVR and others like printers and cameras.
