Connected No Internet AX4300 RAX45

I recently encountered the Connected No Internet issue on my phone.  I have  2.4Ghz and 5Ghz wi-fi networks setup on my AX4300 RAX45 Netgear router.  My router is distant from my bedroom where, when I'm sleeping at night my phone downloads podcasts and uploads backups.  I can't locate my router closer.  Recently my 5Ghz connection occasionally would drop because of the range and the 2.4Ghz would connect but show No Internet.  I tried several suggestions on older discussions but no joy.  I finally tried something I've never played with before.  Under Advanced/Setup/Wireless Setup/Wireless Network (2.4Ghz b/g/n/ax) I flipped Mode to 54 Mbps, Applied and Restarted the router.  Bingo- it connected with Internet.  Then I stepped it up to 230 Mbps, Applied, Restarted and it still connected with Internet.  Then I stepped it back up to 460 Mbps, Applied, Restarted and it NOW connected with Internet... where previously it was failing.  No idea why cycling through the Mode options resolved the issue but it worked for me.  If anyone encounters Connected No Internet maybe try this method.
