Connecting Nighthawk RAX54S to iPhone WIFI hotspot
I live in a rural area, using an AT&T iPhone SE as a personal hotspot for 5G internet. Just bought the router today after asking the guy at Costco if it would connect to the hotspot - he looked it up and said yes. Can't use the Nighthawk app to configure the connection because it quits when it doesn't find a modem. I tried a USB connection between the phone and the router, and also ethernet cable between router and PC - no joy. Does anyone know if it can be done, and how to do it? Thanks.

The usb port on the nighthawk can't be used as a wan/lan port. Its printer/storage only
You potentially could get a lightening to ethernet adapter for your phone and try sharing on your iphone over its lightening port. Not sure if it'd work as I don't have an apple but I've read of others doing it on android devices.
Problem is you can't power it that route so its only a short term option.
And the RAX doesn't have extender/repeater mode so you can't just connect to the hotspots wireless.
