Connection to internet
Some apps update with WiFi. Other apps need mobile data to update, sometimes. Why?
Netgear AC 1900, D7000v2, modem router.
I have a Dell desktop, windows 11, no problems. My mobile phone S21 Ultra 5G sometimes has problems with mobile data connection to internet. At home, it connects to the netgear wifi. Sometimes I cannot update some Apps via the wifi & have to turn on mobile data. The Google news and ABC Australia News apps are trhe main problem. Wifi will not update, but mobile data will.

- Desktop Netgear(modem, router) go through NBN. I am using mobile phone & just now WiFi did not work & had to go through mobile data ???

It encompases everything from dsl, to fibre to the curb, fibre to the home, fixed wireless, satellite, ETC.It doesn't tell me what service you have or how the D7000 is connected to it.

NBN is just a term for australia's internet. it doesn't tell me what service you have, how you're connected to it, etc. Details are key
