Constant, no reconnect after power outage

I bought a new router Feb. 3, 2024 (Nighthawk AX 5-stream AX2400 WiFi 6), what I did not know is that we are using a clone of our computer MAC address and not the ISP server IP's now. 1) not happy about that and 2) After a power outage, of a few hours, I seem to always have to call Comcast to do a modern health check, reboot my computer and I have my internet back. Just like tonight

The more this happens the more irritated I am getting to have to deal with "tech's" who think I need a technician or think I have not idea what I am talking about. All I know at this point when comcast sends that signal, it may trigger a wake up or something, after a reboot I am working again. Maybe this is a coincidence, not sure

All routers before this one, if I lost power, I booted and was immediately back online. There has to be an easier way.. am I not waiting long enough for things to populate? do I need to keep rebooting? I followed the user manual to set this up.

Any ideas?

Thank you for your time,

More details are needed on what you are trying to communicate in your first sentence with regards to cloning the computer MAC address and the internet service providers IP address.

None of the information you provided correlates directly with a specific router model number.  What is the router model number, please look on the nameplate.

What is the brand name and model number of the modem connected between your router and the internet?
