Country of Origin for RAX120 Nighthawk AX12

Hi spacecoms - You can find the Country of Origin on the bottom of the RAX120 package.

What do you mean by "country of origin" and why are you asking?

 

The country of manufacture is not the same as the country that Netgear sets as the sales country.

 

The model number on the box will tell you where the unit was meant to be sold. There is a suffix after the RAX120 that tells you this. -100UKS says UK, while -100NAS = North America.

 

That code can be important because it will tell you what the configuration is for things like wifi. Stuff sold into the USA may be locked on to wifi channels that are illegal in other countries, and vice versa.
