Deregister RAX70 Router
Sold my RAX70 Router but new owner tells me it's still registered to my Netgear account so he can't use it properly. Have deregistered all my Netgear products earlier today but new owner still seemingly having problems. Is there a chance that some kind of server sync issue is causing this and that it may take a day or so before the deregistration is processed fully??? Anyone?

- Johnnyr1970AspirantHi, thanks but I have done this already yet the new owner still sees the router as registered to me. Is there some kind of delay in the Netgear registration records updating (overnight perhaps?)

I ask because there are various types of registration, and these can depend on when you first registered the thing, before or after Netgear forced us all down the MyNetgear route.
What is the new owner trying to do that fails.

Have they tried to register the device with their own account on MyNetgear?
- Johnnyr1970AspirantI unregistered it via my.netgear.com as it was suggested in the knowledge base article. Does the new user need to try and register it through that location as well? I agree, it does look like they are trying to do it via the Nighthawk app in that screenshot.
Have to user try to log in to there NG profile on there side to see if they and de-register it as well.
