I just received the Nighthawk Router AX 6, AX4300 6stream WiFi Model RAX45 and there is a cable that is in the box and I am wondering where the gray cable goes. I use the Dell desktop for internet along with my phone and just wondering if I am suppost to
use my yellow cable for the computer and the gray for Eathernet ports? I have no place on the back of my
desktop for the gray because the yellow is in the back and the other side is in the Spectrum modem Ethernet 1 port.
Please tell me what I am supposed to use.

The cable color doesn't really matter much.
it comes down to this.
There should be a ethernet cable going from the modem to the wan port on router.
Then if you want any of your devices hardwired into the router, directly connect them via ethernet cable to the router.
