External antenna for AC1900, What should I use
Try to figure out what type of and external antenna to buy. Thouter is in a metal building . Has great strength inside but need better strength outside

The problem isn't the antenna. the problem is the metal building. Metal works great at blocking the wifi. Your best bet would be to run an ethernet cord outdoors and connect something like WBC502 running in access point mode.
