Fixed wireless (UK) PPoE Connection
Hello, this is my first post in this community! Unsure if this is the right place to post but I'll ask anyway, I am thinking of purchasing the RAXE300 to use with my current setup, I have fixed ...

You'll need to contact the ISP to see if the RAXE router can replace the ISPs router. If there is a separate ISP modem or ONT, maybe possible. Again, something to ask the ISP. The RAXE is only a wifi router. No modem abilities here. Needs a ISP modem or ONT to interface with to get internet services from.

I could use the ZYXEL router as a modem, turn wifi off and then use the netgear router as a wifi router?
I tried using an eero 6 mesh system and it was terrible, sometimes barely getting 1/4th of my speed when stood in the same room as the main hub!

Turning off the wifi leaves the rest of the router features active. A recipe for chaos.
Bridge mode is designed to turn that off.
If you just turn off the wifi, you have two options:
- Put the second router (the eero Mesh?) into wireless access point (AP) mode to disable its router
- Look at the devices attached to the ZyXel router and see if you can put the IP address of the second router into the ZyXel's DMZ
This second strategy is what I have done with BT.
