FTP wont let me write, but can read RAX20

Hello netgear support, I have been facing issue where FTP does not allow me to write despite disabling admin password on read and write access.

I got these log from filezilla on mac

Command: TYPE I

Response: 200 Transfer type changed to BINARY

Command: PASV

Response: 227 Entering Passive Mode (192,168,1,1,117,72)

Command: STOR bypass-dark.png

Response: 550 Read Only

Error:        Critical file transfer error

I have been trying to use other client such as winscp on windows and still proceed to give the same results.

router is nighthawk rax20 on firmware V1.0.11.112_2.0.77 latest per this thread and yes usb is formatted as ntfs
