FW V1.0.4.76_10.1.82, R8000 - static IPs not being handed out as configured

yes thats it, configuration regarding reservation of IP set in "LAN Setup" against specificied MAC addresses is not being adhered to.

 

This functionality worked without issue on DD-WRT, I have just recently put stock V1.0.4.76_10.1.82 on and am experiencing the issue

Might revert FW version to something prior. Resent FW has not been good for users.

    Thanks, I'm going to Open-WRT as Netgear FW updates appear to be problematic and couldn't be bothered spending the time rolling back to old insecure versions.

        Thanks. I couldn't get 5Ghz wifi to work with OpenWRT.

         

        I tried a November 2020 DD-WRT which bricked it. The older Kong version that worked for me up to now (very well I must add) was from Nov 2019.

         

        So reflashing via serial and going to have to go back through each older version of stock and if I find one that is from 2020 I'll use that, otherwise will go back to what I had.
