Gig LAN ports only outputting half speed

Suggest you check the properties of your network. In Windows, go to Settings -> Network Status and check to see if the network profile is set to Private as opposed to Public. For a home network it should be Private. Sometimes Microsoft updates will arbitrarily change this setting.
If set to Public, Windows throws in a bunch of data barriers under the banner of security.
