I don't know. Can you read the warranty? Which part of the

How would a non-refurbished unit improve your situation? Your
original unit was non-refurbished. How well did that work for you?

Why? Is there one on the market with a free, perpetual ("unlimited")
warranty? Normally, an insurance policy costs money.

I recently found a 1952 Buick owner's manual in a used-book store.
The warranty limit was 90 days or 4000 miles. Change the oil every
2000-3000 miles. Count your blessings?
Well, I tend to stay away from refurbished electronics in general, as I have a bad track record with them. It's not for some mundane reason, as a consumer I would like to have some faith in the products I purchase. Yes, my original unit was defective... that happens. I understand that. I'm just worried about the integrity of this refurbisehd model. As for asking if I should purchase another router, it seems many others have problems with the Nighthawk RAX80. Nothing to do with trying to get an upgrade in warranty lol. More so if I should take preemptive measures so I don't have to deal with more issues. Apologies if you feel like I have some "entitlement" as a consumer for purchasing a brand new $400 router and having problems in the first few months.
