Make and model?
It says:
Spectrum includes a modem with Internet or Voice at no extra cost. Spectrum also provides a compatible router for your service for a low monthly fee. When you choose Spectrum, there is a range of modems and routers to fit your needs.
That doesn't tell us much.

OK I again lost internet this morning. Windows has a troubleshooter and it said it can't find the dns server. The spectrum modem is a ET2251 docsis 3.1. I have a new in the box Arris S33 cable modem that I have had for a while so I swapped it out and got the modem reprovisioned so we'll see how this works.

How is the RAXE connected to the Arris mode? Yellow WAN port or are you using the multigig port on the back of the router?

I tried it in both ports and the speed was the same. I finally got ISP to come out and check the system so I put the Spectrum modem back on. The speed has always been fast and I got a good bill of health on the check out. The tech said the only thing left that hasn't been tried is a new router and I agree. I'm suspecting the RAX500. In fact I had to reboot it prior to logging on here. This thing was expensive and hate buying something else.
