Help! I just paid $60 more for 1GB internet but my nighthawk won't take it

I know that there are posts about this, but I can't seem to figure this out.

I just paid $60 more to get 1GB, but my nighthawk AX8 is not pushing out 1GB.

a) Is it even possible for the nighthawk AX8 to push out a 1GB wi-fi signal?

b) If so, how do I do this?

1. What actual router do you have? the label will have the model number on it?

2. Your not going to hit gigabit speeds over wireless. Wired...yes. Wireless....no.
