Help Please: Bridge Mode or Access Point?

Hello,

I have as my main router a RAXE500 in my home office connected to my PC via ethernet and connected to my modem.  I have a RAX50 that I want to set up in the living room so I can use it as an extra ethernet switch (I have a standalone ethernet switch in that room).  If possible, I would also like to use the RAX50 as a wireless extender and ethernet switch.

I don't know whether to use Wireless Bridge or AP mode on the RAX50.  Will either of these modes work to make the RAX50 a switch and a wireless extender?  If so, how would I do that.  Would I disconnect the RAXE500 from my PC in my home office and replace it with the RAX50 and then configure the RAX50 as either a bride or AP?

I'm a bit confused and would really appreciate help to figure this all out, step by step.  Thanks in advance.

Thanks very much, I will give it a try.  One other question, is there any benefit, once I set up the RAX50 as an AP, to connect it to the ethernet switch that's already in there?  Would step be needed in order to use the ethernet ports on the RAX50?  Or, can I use the RAX50 ethernet ports by just having it as an AP?

      Thanks again, really appreciate it.
