Help with buying decision NETGEAR Nighthawk AX12 12-Stream WiFi 6 Router (RAX120) - AX6000 Wireless

I have a Nighthawk X10 AD7200 Model R9000 and am wondering if I would gain a performance upgrade with the AX12?

    you won't at the moment. I'd also advice not to buy any WiFi-6 routers like the RAX120 as these are based on a specification which is still a draft and not finalized. If I was you, I'd wait a year and a half or longer for everything to settle down (firmware & hardware). I'm sure NG will release another WiFi-6 model when the draft is finalized or upgrade current models (v2, v3, etc) to comply

    What issues do you have with the R9000?

     

    Anything running slow? There might be ways of fixing that without denting your wallet.
